In the footsteps of Art Deco

Saint-Jacques Church

Built from 12th/19th/20th centuries. After sustaining considerable damage during the First World War, Saint Jacques Church was rebuilt by architect Henri Deneux (1920), who took the opportunity to experiment with the system of a reinforced concrete framework that can be dismantled, which he went on to use for the cathedral framework.

Listed as Monument Historique in 1912
