In the footsteps of Art Deco
Opera House, previously the Grand Théâtre
The Reims Opera House, previously known as the Grand Théâtre, was the creation of architect Alphonse Gosset and opened in 1873. After it burned down during the First World War, it was decided to keep the 19th-century façade during the reconstruction era and to redesign the interior in line with Art Deco style.
