In the footsteps of Art Deco

Halles du Boulingrin market

The Halles du Boulingrin market, built between 1927 and 1929, was the work of architect Emile Maigrot and is an integral part of Reims’ identity. The Halles were closed down in 1988 then renovated between 2010 and 2012. The arch of weakly reinforced concrete which overhangs the stalls at a height of 19.85 metres is only 7 cm thick.
