Gregory of Tours considered this church to be one of the most important in Reims in the 5^th century. It was close to the Saint-Remi Abbey and rebuilt in the 11^thcentury, but houses were then built around it after the Revolution. In 1991, excavations made it possible to rediscover its outline.
